Dr. John Lloyd works at our Minneapolis hospital. His favorite part of his job is building rapport with clients. His medical interests include preventative care, and he is passionate about client service. Before working at Vet Partners, Dr. Lloyd completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He also played division II soccer for the school. He went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2012. After graduation, he worked at a busy small animal clinic, then joined Vet Partners Pet Hospital in the fall of 2017. In his free time, Dr. Lloyd enjoys playing MASL soccer with his team, Haaka FB, for over 10 years and spending time with his wife and 2 cats. He had an interest in medicine and science from a young age and was able to apply it to help animals when they don’t have the ability to help themselves [citation].
