Dr. Rachel Covi is an owner and a DVM at our Minneapolis hospital. Dr. Covi’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with clients and continuing to learn new things. Her medical interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and geriatrics.
I chose veterinary medicine for the love of the human animal bond. Science and problem solving are a passion of mine. There is always something new to learn and never a dull day in practice.
She survives trips to the grocery store with two small children, can successfully execute a multi-course dinner for eight, and is an information junkie within and outside the veterinary field.

- Ashley: Gray DLH, 2011 model – A client found him as a kitten in an abandoned house. While shy around strangers, he is a very affectionate with those he trusts, including the kids.
- Kyle: Black Sphynx, 2022 model – A purr machine with unending patience for the affection and attention of the younger humans in the household.
