Dr. Ramin Saberzadeh has been a veterinarian for over 30 years. He has been practicing in the small animal field since 2000 in the United States after completing the foreign graduate program at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As a general practitioner, he enjoys various aspects of veterinary medicine, but he has special interests in geriatric medicine and preventative care. He became certified in canine rehabilitation in order to offer more options to his patients, especially senior pets. He is a strong believer in client communication since he believes if the pet owners have the most information possible, they can make the best decisions for their furry family members.
On a personal note, he is originally from Tehran, Iran. He has been married to his wife, Dr. Andrea Hitch, also a veterinarian, for over 20 years. Currently, they share their lives with their 2 dogs, Gimli, a 13-year-old Teacup Chihuahua, and Gandalf, an 8-year-old Lhasa Apso mix breed. They moved from California to Washington in 2014 for the weather and all the fantastic natural wonders this beautiful state has to offer.
Dr. Saberzadeh likes to keep busy all the time. If he isn’t practicing veterinary medicine, he is spending his time on a variety of tasks and hobbies. He enjoys working outdoors, transplanting trees, as well as doing yard work. He takes pride in being able to fix his old cars, especially when he can use recycled parts and materials.
