Dr. Angela has always had a love for animals. Her earliest memories involving animals influencing her life are not only involving the menagerie of dogs, cats, fish, birds, and hamster house pets but also all the frogs, turtles, and crawfish she could catch. A bit of a tomboy by nature, Dr. Angela enjoys outdoor activities including swimming and hiking as well as sporting events, especially basketball.
She was raised in Claremore, Oklahoma, and attended The University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Zoology. While at OU, Dr. Angela's parents moved to Aberdeen, MS, to be closer to her extended family and return to their roots. Dr. Angela had the unique opportunity to apply to either Oklahoma State or Mississippi State for in-state tuition vet school and chose to attend Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine so she could be closer to her family.
Family is top priority to Dr. Angela She is a mother to two children, Fiona and Nicholas. They share their home with 3 dogs (Bailey Cupcake, Lizzy Jo, and Blossom), one cat (Ruger Booger Baby Boy), and one guinea pig (Shine).

She has practiced in a variety of settings including referral practices, several emergency critical care practices, high-volume larger multi-vet clinics, humane society or spay/neuter clinics, as well as many smaller individual companion animal practices. Now that her children are in school, she has the time to commit to starting her own practice and finally do things her way!!... The Veterinary Medical Clinic of Ocean Springs is Dr. Angela’s home away from home, her final child, her vision of blending her experiences into one small clinic with a lot of heart. It is the other family doctor for your furry friends.
