Dr. Hernandez was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Central Ohio in 1998. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at 6 years old. She attended The Ohio State University and received her Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences in 2014. She continued her education at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Her special interests are ultrasound, cardiology, and internal medicine. Dr. Hernandez is hoping to become certified in acupuncture sometime in the future. When not working, she loves baking, embroidering, reading books of all genres, and studying historical fashion. She has one pup, a chihuahua mix named Penny who is very spoiled.
