Janet Lipman was born in New York but attended Tufts University in Massachusetts. She met her husband, Dr. James Massaro, as a classmate at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where they both graduated in 1986. They married that same year. Janet Lipman and Dr. James Massaro have each practiced small animal medicine and surgery for over 35 years. They enjoy living and practicing in the wonderful community of Medford, NJ, where they have raised their two sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, including two dogs and three 'grand-kitties'. [citation]
