Amanda grew up in Idaho and spent the majority of her childhood at her grandmother’s house learning about raising and caring for animals. She has been working with animals since she was a teenager. Her career in veterinary medicine began 5 years ago and she spent 3 of those years working in emergency specific care. She is passionate about End of Life care and making the hardest days as comfortable as can be for both pets and their families. But she will never turn down a chance to interact with puppies and kittens!
When she is not at work, she spends the majority of her time outdoors doing things such as hiking, camping, collecting rocks and crystals or just hanging out with her animals. She also loves rescue work and will jump at the opportunity to help an animal find their forever home. If it were up to her, she would be the forever home for every animal in need!
Amanda lives with her dogs, a cat, ferrets, a lizard, chickens, ducks and even goats Together with her boyfriend, she is slowly building their dream homestead which will someday include cows
