I was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. I did my undergraduate studies at Purdue University and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. I have also proudly served in the US Army Reserves. I have a special interest in both the routine and the challenging cases when working with dogs, cats and horses. I have been a breeder and exhibitor of American Saddlebreds, and also show my American Hackney Roadster Pony "My Kryptonite". Last year one of the horses I bred became the World Champion of Champions in the Amateur Three Gaited Division in Louisville, Kentucky, which of course was a big thrill for me. I love working with clients and the pets they entrust to my care and the outstanding care of all my co-workers at Woodlake Animal Hospital.
