About Us
At Aggieland Veterinary Services, we are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care for exotic and wildlife species. Our team brings the veterinary hospital directly to you, offering a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique medical and husbandry needs of these animals. We are committed to promoting positive human-animal interactions and improving animal welfare and husbandry for both privately owned animals and zoological or wildlife institutions.
Our services include health assessments, surgical procedures, diagnostics, transport, emergency response, and more. We understand that proper care for exotic animals requires special training and skills, which is why our staff is equipped with the expertise to handle a variety of species. We aim to prevent inappropriate husbandry and nutrition issues by offering consultations through our Animal Welfare & Husbandry division. These consultations may include nutritional analysis and formulations, SOP development, preparation for USDA inspections, training protocols, and more.
Our team is passionate about providing exceptional medicine at an affordable cost. We serve the Brazos Valley and surrounding Central Texas regions, including Houston, Waco, Austin, and more. We also offer mobile veterinary services to areas outside of the Brazos Valley, with travel dates arranged by request or on a routine schedule dependent on the region.
Our staff is comprised of experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of exotic animal care. Dr. Brady, our lead veterinarian, has extensive experience in exotic animal medicine, having worked in both private zoos and zoological settings. She is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive animal care service tailored to the unique medical and husbandry needs of exotic animals. Our team includes Joseph, who brings expertise in exotic hoofstock husbandry and care, and Mallory, who specializes in animal enrichment and training. Magda, our client liaison, provides exceptional customer service and educational outreach.
