Our HistoryOur journey began in 1991 when Dr. Beth Breitweiser, a seasoned veterinarian with over 30 years of experience in exotic animal medicine, opened our doors. Dr. Breitweiser's extensive education includes undergraduate work at Anderson College and Purdue University, as well as veterinary school at Purdue University. She further honed her skills with an internship in exotic medicine at the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville Zoo. Before starting All Wild Things, Dr. Breitweiser worked at the Indianapolis Zoo, where she gained invaluable experience in caring for a diverse range of exotic species.
