Drema has been part of the ACH family for over 16 years She has worked as a veterinary assistant, and while she's retired from that now, you'll still find her hanging out at ACH throughout the week. She loves working with our new puppy patients, as well as laying with our recovering surgery pets to give them the extra comfort they need.
Drema is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She was a registered Delta Society dog handler for over 10 years, visiting nursing homes and Alzheimer's units. She and her dogs also worked in the Hospice program for the Visiting Nurse Association, being one of the first teams in the high desert area. She also participated in the monthly children's READ program at the Apple Valley Library.
Today, she puts these skills to use in her dog training classes held right here at our clinic. Drema has been involved with dog training for over 20 years.
