About Us
At the Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County, our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality emergency medical, surgical, and intensive care to the pets and their owners in Central Illinois. We are dedicated to delivering these services with efficiency and compassion, ensuring that your pet receives the best possible care during critical moments.
We specialize in after-hours and overnight emergency care, catering to the needs of pets that require immediate attention. Our team of dedicated staff is available 24/7 to diagnose and manage a variety of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. Our services include point-of-care blood tests, radiology, ultrasound, oxygen and fluid management, and emergency surgery.
We understand the importance of timely and effective care, which is why we encourage you to call us first so we can better prepare for your pet’s arrival. Our hours of operation include Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 8 AM, all weekend from 6 PM Friday to 8 AM Monday, and all major holidays. Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept cash and personal checks with photo ID.
Our commitment to your pet’s well-being extends beyond emergency care. We also offer a Canine Blood Bank program, where eligible dogs can donate blood to help other pets in need. To be considered for this program, your dog must meet specific physical and health criteria, including good disposition, certain weight requirements, and up-to-date vaccinations.
In addition to our medical services, we are proud to support the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable foundation that helps veterinary practices provide care to pet owners in financial crisis. This foundation allows us to assist pets in emergency situations by providing financial aid to those who need it most.
At the Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County, we strive to provide compassionate and efficient care to every pet that walks through our doors. We are committed to being a trusted resource for pet owners in Central Illinois, ensuring that your furry friends receive the best possible care when they need it most.
