At Animal Outreach Project, Inc., we are dedicated to helping animals and the people who love them. Established in 2015, we are a small non-profit organization based in Upshur County, West Virginia. We are deeply committed to addressing the pressing needs in our community, particularly those related to animal welfare.

Our mission is to provide essential services that alleviate the problems associated with pet overpopulation. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a healthy and happy life. To achieve this, we offer a range of services designed to support both pets and their owners.
Services We Provide
Cats
We understand the critical role that spay and neuter services play in reducing pet overpopulation. Our program offers assistance with the spay and neuter of all cats, including feral colonies. We use live traps to safely capture feral cats, and we provide free ear tipping to identify altered feral cats. Additionally, we offer rabies vaccines with every spay or neuter procedure. For those very cold nights, we provide insulated feral cat warm boxes. We also distribute canned and dry cat food, as well as litter, to all cats in need.
Dogs
Dogs are often referred to as "man's best friend," and we believe that they deserve the best care possible. Our spay and neuter assistance for dogs helps them live longer, healthier lives. By reducing the urge to roam and mate, we prevent serious medical ailments and behavioral issues. We ensure that all dogs have a current rabies vaccine, as required by state law. We also provide canned and dry dog food, as well as dog houses and straw, to support those in need.
