About Us
At Brownsville Spay Neuter, we are dedicated to creating a safer and healthier community for both people and pets. Since our inception in May 2010, we have been committed to providing high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services to the Brownsville community. Our mission is to reduce the population of unwanted pets and, consequently, the intake of unwanted animals into the local shelters.
We offer a wide range of services designed to keep your pets healthy and happy. Our primary focus is on the care of dogs and cats, and we strive to make these essential services accessible to all families. By spaying or neutering your pet, you are not only preventing unplanned pregnancies but also contributing to a more compassionate community. Our experienced team of veterinarians, led by Jeanne Oehler DVM and Lindsay Fultz DVM, ensures that every pet receives the best possible care.
We have a long history of micro-chipping over 20,000 pets, working closely with the Brownsville Animal Regulations and Care Center (BARCC) to reunite lost pets with their owners. Our commitment to responsible pet ownership extends beyond spay and neuter services. We also provide low-cost preventative care, including rabies vaccines, to ensure your pets stay healthy and happy.
As a non-profit organization, we aim to keep costs as low as possible while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care. This approach encourages families to keep their pets up-to-date with necessary vaccinations and care. We also collaborate with local rescue groups, ensuring that kittens up for adoption are sterilized, healthy, and ready to meet their future families.
