About Us
At Butler Veterinary Services, we are dedicated to providing top-quality care for your pets. Our journey began as a large animal ambulatory practice in February 2015, with Dr. Nathan Butler working tirelessly to serve the needs of cattle, sheep, goats, and production pigs. However, it was the passion and commitment to personal relationships with clients that led us to expand our services to include small animals.
In 2017, Dr. Nathan and his wife Katie seized the opportunity to pursue their dream of owning their own clinic. They broke ground on the new facility in June 2017 and completed it in December 2017. This marked a significant milestone in our journey, allowing us to integrate state-of-the-art medicine and surgery with the personal touch that our clients have come to expect.
Our team is passionate about treating each animal as if it were our own. We strive to create and maintain lifelong relationships with our clients and patients. Dr. Nathan, a lifelong resident of Knoxville, TN, grew up in Hardin Valley and graduated from Karns High School. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. His veterinary interests include both medicine and surgery of both small and large animals.
We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to keep your pets healthy and thriving. Our services include annual wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, microchipping, surgery, emergency care, and dental care. We understand that no two animals are the same, so we develop personalized vaccination schedules tailored to your pet's specific needs.

Dr. Nathan Butler, along with Dr. McKenzie Lindley and Dr. Morgan Ray, are all graduates of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clinic, ensuring that every pet receives the best possible care.
We are proud to have Brandy Prosise, a licensed veterinary technician, who has been working with us for many years. Her expertise and dedication have been invaluable in our mission to provide top-notch care.
