At Canton Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care to all your animals, whether they are large or small. Our clinic has been a trusted name in Northeast Missouri and the Tri-County Area since 1998, when Dr. Dan Goehl and his wife, Dr. Rachel Goehl, founded the practice. Dr. Rachel brings her extensive experience in small animal care, having worked at a Small Animal Practice in the Quincy area before joining Canton Veterinary Clinic.
Our team is committed to delivering compassionate and personalized care to each and every pet that walks through our doors. We understand the unique needs of both companion animals and livestock, and our veterinarians are well-equipped to handle a wide range of services. From routine check-ups and vaccinations to advanced medical procedures, we strive to provide the highest level of care possible.
Our veterinarians are highly skilled and actively involved in their professional communities. Dr. Dan Goehl specializes in progressive large animal medicine, working with stocker and cow/calf beef operations. He is a member of several prestigious veterinary associations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP). Dr. Rachel oversees companion animal clients and is also a member of the AVMA and MVMA Northeast District past president. Our team includes other experienced veterinarians, each bringing their unique expertise to the table.
