Dr. Renee grew up in Michigan in the country with dogs, cats, goats, horses and a variety of other pets. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she attended veterinary school at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation, she practiced in central Massachusetts seeing both small animal and equine patients. In 2007, she, her husband, and daughter moved to Louisiana and she began working for Dr. Reina shortly thereafter. In 2014, Dr. Reina sold her the practice and it became Companion Care Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Renee and her family live in the country near DeQuincy on a horse farm. They have 4 dogs and 5 cats who all came to them as strays, in addition to the many horses and goats that live on the farm. Her husband Jason is the Office Manager for the practice and they have one daughter. If Dr. Renee is not at the clinic, she is at the family farm working with the horses.
