About Us
At Companion Care Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your beloved pets. As a family-owned, single-doctor practice, we pride ourselves on offering consistent and personalized care to each and every one of our patients. Our team is passionate about animals and committed to ensuring that your pet receives the highest level of attention and care.
Our clinic is designed to meet the unique needs of companion animals in Lake Charles and the surrounding areas. We understand that your pets are more than just animals; they are part of your family. That's why we strive to provide not only exceptional veterinary care but also great customer service and convenience.
Our boarding facility is a highlight of our services. We offer a safe and comfortable environment for your pets, with plenty of outdoor space for exercise and a covered area for playtime during bad weather. Our securely fenced outdoor area features individual partially-shaded runs, allowing your pet to safely interact with neighboring guests during exercise time. We also have indoor climate-controlled kennels that provide privacy for boarders, and kennels with rubberized flooring to help cushion boarders who have arthritis.
For our canine guests, we serve Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food, but you are also welcome to bring your pet's own food from home. Fresh water is provided at all times, and fresh, soft bedding is supplied and changed at least twice daily. We are happy to administer medications or supplements that your pet requires during their stay, provided they are in their original labeled bottle.
We also cater to small pets, including guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters. These animals are kept in a quiet, secluded area away from both canine and feline boarding. We request that you supply food for your small pets while they are in our care.
At Companion Care Veterinary Clinic, we pride ourselves on maintaining a happy and healthy environment for all our pet guests. For the protection of all boarding guests, dogs must have current immunizations against rabies, distemper, parvo virus, bordetella (kennel cough), and canine influenza. All cats must have current immunizations against rabies and feline respiratory diseases.
We are committed to ensuring that your pet feels at home with us. Whether you need routine check-ups, boarding services, or any other veterinary care, we are here to provide you with the best possible experience.
