At Country Roads Veterinary Services, we are dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care for your large animals. Our team, led by Dr. Amy Franklin, a 2001 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, has over 20 years of experience in large animal medicine. We specialize in equine care, including racehorses and pleasure horses, as well as sheep, goats, and camelids like llamas and alpacas.
Our comprehensive services include airway endoscopy, artificial insemination, bloodwork, castrations, Coggins testing, colic work-ups, dental exams and floatations, dystocia assistance/fetal extraction, emergency services, health papers, laceration repair, lameness exams, parasite management, pre-purchase exams, racehorse services, ultrasounding, vaccinations, and X-rays. We also offer deworming, flea/tick prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and vaccinations for canine and feline clients.
We are committed to delivering quality and affordable preventative and emergency veterinary care. Our scheduled appointments are available weekdays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and our office hours are from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm weekdays. For emergencies, we are available evenings and weekends.
In addition to our veterinary services, we provide health care products for our clients. These products can be picked up in the office or delivered during normal business hours. Our team includes experienced veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and an office manager who are all dedicated to ensuring your animals receive the best possible care.
