Our Commitment to You
We understand that finances can be a barrier when it comes to accessing veterinary care. That's why we have programs in place to assist people with financial difficulties. Our team is here to help you obtain an estimate for care and share our payment options and pricing. We also offer financial assistance to those in need, ensuring that every pet receives the care they deserve.
One Health Program
Our One Health Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of both humans and animals within our community. Managed by a licensed social worker, the program provides crucial resources and support for clients addressing issues such as housing, food insecurity, abuse, elder care, hoarding, and mental health. It also offers grief support for pet loss and collaborates with humane society officers on neglect cases. This comprehensive approach aims to improve the collective health and wellness of people, animals, and the environment.
Humane Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never an easy thing to do. We provide humane euthanasia, a medical procedure that our veterinarians can offer after a consultation with the owner and a physical exam of the pet. We understand these decisions are very difficult, and our staff is committed to a kind and gentle end-of-life experience.
At the Dayton Humane Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing compassionate and quality veterinary care. Our dedicated team is here to support animals in achieving their best health, ensuring that every pet receives the care they need to thrive. We are proud to be part of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, working together to create a community where every animal is valued and free from suffering.
