At Fountain House Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing quality, caring veterinary service in a personalized and compassionate environment. Established in 1978, our clinic is located on the site of an old health spa of the same name, reflecting our commitment to holistic care for your pets.
Our mission remains the same over the years: to maintain a family of patients and clients that we care for in all senses of that term. We strive to provide the quality medicine and support needed by you and your pet, while sharing our love and great respect for animals. Our friendly and informal atmosphere in the reception area quickly turns clients and patients into friends, fostering a sense of community and trust.
Our team is led by Dr. Tausz, who graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. With a strong background in companion animal care, Dr. Tausz has always endeavored to stay abreast of recent advances in veterinary science. He places a high priority on a personal understanding of the patient as a whole being, ensuring that each pet receives individualized handling for every situation.
Joanne Tausz, Dr. Tausz's wife, has been an integral part of the clinic since 1977. Her role has evolved to include managerial and reception duties, with a special responsibility for patient moral support. Joanne's love for animals is matched by her enthusiasm for mystery reading, cooking, yoga, and travel planning.
