- Medical Care: Our veterinarians are committed to providing comprehensive medical care. We emphasize client education and formulate wellness programs based on your pet's lifestyle. We also stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine through ongoing continuing education seminars.
- Surgical Procedures: The thought of surgery can be unsettling, but at Greenwich Valley Veterinary Clinic, we prioritize safety and pain management. Our experienced veterinarians create personalized anesthetic protocols for each patient, ensuring a smooth and safe surgical experience.

Our microchipping service includes a mini computer chip implanted under your pet's skin, along with collar ID tags and lifetime enrollment in the American Kennel Club Companion Animal Recovery (AKC CAR) service.
Meet Our Team
Our team is comprised of dedicated and compassionate veterinarians who are passionate about providing the best care for your pets. Our veterinarians include:
- Dr. Kim Nelson: A 1981 graduate of The University of Rhode Island and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Nelson has been a dedicated veterinarian in Rhode Island since her graduation. She enjoys small animal practice and working with varied critters and their people.
- Dr. Sarah McElroy: With a passion for veterinary medicine since elementary school, Dr. McElroy has worked full-time at Greenwich Valley Veterinary Clinic since 2010. She treats mostly dogs and cats, as well as occasional pocket pets and exotic animals.
- Dr. Ted White: A graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Kansas State Veterinary School, Dr. White has worked as a small animal veterinarian since 2003. His interests include general medicine and canine reproduction.
- Dr. Samantha Courtemanche: The newest addition to our team, Dr. Courtemanche is a New England native who completed both her Bachelor’s of Animal Sciences and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. She enjoys hiking, water skiing, and reading in her free time.
