About Us
Welcome to Kings Creek Animal Hospital, where we are dedicated to providing professional and compassionate veterinary care to the Kaufman community and beyond. Our journey began in May 2010 when Dr. David Peterson purchased his grandfather’s veterinary practice, Dr. Hans Peterson’s, and renamed it. Dr. David Peterson, a Kaufman High School graduate, went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2001 and his Veterinary Degree in 2006. He completed his internship in Small Animal Emergency Medicine in Houston, Texas, and worked three additional years as an emergency clinician.
At Kings Creek Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on treating each pet as if they were our own. Our full-service animal clinic is well-equipped to handle all your veterinary needs, from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to advanced surgical procedures and emergency care. Our in-house laboratory and pharmacy ensure that we can provide timely and accurate diagnostic results and medication management.
We offer a wide range of services designed to keep your pets healthy and happy. These include wellness and preventive care services such as exams, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick protection, dental cleaning, spay and neuter procedures, and other surgeries. We also provide boarding services for dogs and cats, ensuring that your pets are in trained hands while you are away. Additionally, our full-time groomer offers various grooming services to keep your pets looking their best.
