About Us
At National Spay Alliance Savannah, our mission is to provide essential veterinary services to the community, focusing on spay/neuter procedures while also offering a range of low-cost basic services. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families by reducing euthanasia rates and promoting better pet care.
Our journey began in 2013 when we recognized the need for affordable spay/neuter services in underserved communities. We expanded from our Colorado roots, utilizing the gold standard for spay/neuter clinics developed by the Humane Alliance of North Carolina. Our mobile units have served communities in Colorado, Kansas, Georgia, New Mexico, and New York, with a significant presence in Northwest Georgia.
In response to a local rescue group's request, we began our services in Savannah in 2018. After witnessing the immense need for our services, we decided to establish a permanent clinic in Savannah. Since then, we have seen a reduction in euthanasia rates, improved pet care, and a more educated community.
Our clinic offers a variety of services, including vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives, and microchipping. We strive to create a compassionate and caring environment for both our clients and their pets. Our commitment to inclusivity means we do not exclude clients based on geographical or income restrictions.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals in need. With the support of the Savannah and surrounding communities, we aim to build a pet-friendly community where every animal receives the care it deserves. Join us in our endeavor to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families.
