About Us
At the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), we are dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate environment for animals in need. Located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, our organization has been a beacon of hope for thousands of animals annually. For over three decades, we have been committed to the welfare of animals, ensuring they receive the care, shelter, and love they deserve.
Our mission is to protect, feed, shelter, and provide medical care to the abandoned, hungry, homeless, and injured animals in our community. We strive to prevent cruelty to animals through humane education and community outreach programs. Our services are designed to meet the diverse needs of animals, from providing shelter and adoption services to offering low-cost medical clinics and spay/neuter programs.
We take pride in our comprehensive services, which include animal care and adoptions, foster care, and humane education. Our clinic offers microchip implants, spay/neuter services, and low-cost medical care to ensure the health and well-being of our furry friends. Additionally, we provide 24-hour emergency services, lost and found services, and participate in the First Strike Campaign to combat animal cruelty.
Our dedicated team of animal lovers works tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the care and attention they need. We believe in the importance of community involvement and offer volunteer opportunities for those who wish to contribute to our mission. By supporting PAWS, you are helping us continue our commitment to providing a safe haven for animals in need.
