At Salty Dog Hound Lounge, we are dedicated to providing a safe, happy, and healthy environment for your furry friends. Our primary goal is to ensure that every canine client feels loved, entertained, and appreciated. We understand that each dog is unique, with its own quirks and personalities, and we tailor our services to meet the individual needs of each animal.
Our facility is designed with safety in mind, thanks to the expertise of a former zookeeper and an experienced craftsman. We cater to a variety of canine personalities and physical builds, ensuring that climbers, diggers, jumpers, chewers, and tiny or giant dogs are all kept safe. Our staff, led by Liza Carlson and Shawnn Kehr, are passionate about providing top-notch care. Liza, a former veterinary technician, closely monitors our guests for any signs of illness, ailments, or stress, and we have a close relationship with local veterinary clinics for any situations beyond our scope.
We offer a range of services designed to keep your pets happy and healthy. Our dog daycare, supervised by experienced staff, provides a safe and social environment for dogs to enjoy being dogs. The indoor play area features rubber flooring for traction and shock absorption, with the door always open to the large outdoor yard. We also offer separate playgroups for large and active dogs, as well as small and senior dogs.
For those times when you need to be away, our dog boarding services provide cozy and safe private rooms with playtime during the day. We offer Canidae All Life Stages dry kibble and comfortable Wash N' Zip Pet Beds and Raised Cots to ensure your dogs are clean and comfy all night long.
In addition to our daycare and boarding services, we also offer a self-serve dog wash facility. This allows you to give your best 4-legged friend a thorough cleaning with raised tubs, a selection of shampoos and conditioners, an array of brushes, raised dry stations with high-pressure blow dryers, lots of towels, and aprons to keep you dry.
Our dog salon provides nail services, including regular nail trims and nail trims with filing for jumpers and elderly owners. We strive to make every visit to Salty Dog Hound Lounge a positive and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet. We are committed to providing the same care and attention to your pets as we do to our own family members. At Salty Dog Hound Lounge, your pets are truly part of our family.
