Dr. Alonzo was born in Los Angeles, CA but has spent most of her life in Mississippi. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi and attended veterinary school at Mississippi State University. Her areas of interest include preventive care, client education, feline medicine, and ophthalmology. Dr. Alonzo has a Beagle-Lab-Chow mix (Frances) and a cat (Biscuit). In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and all things involving food, including cooking, baking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling [citation].
