Dr. Courtney Pace joined our clinic family in July 2013 and proudly took the reins as owner in January 2017. Growing up in the Ft. Worth area, she’s always had a deep connection to Texas. After graduating from Keller High School, she headed to College Station and actively engaged with the Block and Bridal organization at Texas A&M University. Her summers during college were dedicated to gaining valuable experience as a technician in several Equine Specialty Clinics, which further fueled her passion for Equine Medicine and Surgery throughout veterinary school. Following her studies, Dr. Pace completed a year-long internship in San Antonio before relocating to Slaton to work alongside Dr. Farr. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Pace shares her home with her husband, James, their two daughters, Mesa and Jentry, and beloved dog, Mae West. They also have two Quarter Horses and a herd of commercial heifers. Dr. Pace truly loves her role in veterinary medicine. The ability to save animals and connect with the wonderful people of West Texas brings her immense joy. She values the friendships she’s cultivated within the community and continues to grow those special relationships [citation].
