About Us
At South Plains Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for our patients. Our mission is to offer comprehensive veterinary services that cater to the unique needs of all animals, from small pets to large livestock. Our team is committed to delivering quality care with compassion and expertise.
Our clinic is led by Dr. Courtney Pace, who joined our family in July 2013 and took over as owner in January 2017. Dr. Pace has a deep connection to Texas and a passion for equine medicine and surgery, which she honed during her studies and internship. Her dedication to veterinary medicine is evident in the exceptional care she provides, and she takes immense joy in saving animals and connecting with the wonderful people of West Texas.
Our team is a dynamic and experienced group of professionals who share a love for animals. Terra, our office manager, brings extensive experience in the veterinary field and is a true dog lover at heart. Landri, our newest receptionist, adds a fresh spark to our clinic with her enthusiasm and love for the outdoors. Dakota, another valued member of our team, is a Lubbock native who brightens our front desk with her warm smile and dedication to her role. Chloe, Preslee, Camryn, Saxton, and Kristi are all dedicated small animal technicians who bring their passion and expertise to every interaction with our clients and their pets. Austin and Cole are our exceptional large animal technicians who share a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to providing top-notch care for our equine and livestock clients. Kamryn, with her master’s degree in veterinary science, is an invaluable addition to our large animal team.
We offer a wide range of services, including standard medical, surgical, dental, and reproductive veterinary care. Our clinic also provides acupuncture for horses and dogs, aiming to restore balance to the energy flow in the physical body. Additionally, we offer laser therapy, which is safe, noninvasive, and painless, with no known side effects. This therapy can reduce or eliminate the use of pharmaceutical pain relievers and is tailored to the specific needs of each animal.
We understand that pets are part of the family, and we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for both our clients and their animals. Whether you need routine check-ups, emergency care, or specialized treatments, we are here to provide the best possible care for your beloved pets. Our commitment to quality, compassion, and community is what sets us apart, and we look forward to serving you and your animals.
