At St. Johns Veterinary Hospital, we are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pets. Founded in 1980 by Dr. Jack Shuler, our practice has grown significantly over the years, doubling in size to 10,000 square feet and continuously updating our facilities to provide state-of-the-art care. In 1991, Drs. Quelch and Gendzier took over the practice, bringing with them a commitment to academic excellence and the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
Our team of expert veterinarians and veterinary technicians is passionate about delivering compassionate and professional care to all our patients. We strive to make every visit pleasant and stress-free for both you and your pet. Our philosophy is centered around providing the best possible care, which is reflected in our weekly rounds discussions where we constantly update our practice of medicine and surgery to reflect the newest information.
We offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of your pet. Our full-service veterinary care includes boarding, where your pet is treated as our special guest, with individually walked dogs and carefully monitored pets. Our professional groomers provide custom-tailored cuts to show your pet off at their best, and our playcare services ensure your pet stays active and engaged while you are away.
In addition to our core services, we also specialize in the care of exotic pets, including ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, rodents, snakes, frogs/toads, bearded dragons, chameleons, geckos, iguanas, turtles, and tortoises. Our radiography services use X-rays to diagnose a variety of ailments, from arthritis and tumors to bladder and kidney stones, and lung abnormalities.
