About Us
At Taney County Veterinary Service, we are dedicated to providing quality and compassionate veterinary care for livestock, small animals, and exotics. Our mission is to offer a wide range of services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring the health and well-being of their pets and livestock.
Our History
Our journey began with a passion for veterinary care and a commitment to serving the community. Our founder, Stephen Holland, DVM, was raised in Taney County and graduated from Forsyth High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Global Studies from Drury University in Springfield. Stephen then pursued his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he graduated in 2017. After gaining valuable experience working at a mixed animal practice in central Missouri, Stephen returned home to start his own veterinary practice.
