Located in West Newton, Massachusetts, we are proud to be a “Best of Boston” pick, known for our caring and experienced staff, as well as our outstanding customer service. Our unique "Open Pack" concept allows dogs to socialize, play, and relax in spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Our specially trained staff ensures that every dog is well-cared for, with free-roaming socialization and plenty of exercise and entertainment.
At The Dog Scoop, we understand the importance of providing a comfortable and stimulating environment for your pet. Our state-of-the-art grooming center is part of our expanded facility, which we opened in December 2012. Whether you need daycare, overnight boarding, or grooming services, we have you covered. Our facilities are designed to meet the needs of all dogs, from small to large breeds, ensuring that every pup feels at home.
Our day care program is unlike any other in the Boston area. Every dog that stays with us has been pre-screened and behavior-tested to ensure they are comfortable in our environment. Our staff is on site 24 hours a day, so your dog will never be left alone. Our outdoor area features high-quality artificial turf, shady covered areas, and a mister cooling system and pools in the summer. The indoor space is equipped with blankets and dog beds, AC and fans for hot summer days, and heaters for cold winter nights.
For those times when you need to be away from home, our overnight boarding facility offers a comfortable and secure environment. Our 3,000 square foot facility features a common room, television sets, doggie beds, and even comfortable cubbies for lounging or sleeping. All dogs are monitored day and night by experienced dog care professionals, ensuring they are safe and happy.
