I developed a love of veterinary medicine, and a special fondness for feline medicine, during my undergraduate studies. It was working as an assistant at both a veterinary practice and a cat-only animal shelter that inspired me to go to veterinary school. And in 2008, I earned my DVM degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. I am a big believer in Fear Free Medicine and the Human-Animal Bond and have certifications in both. I decided to open my own hospital because providing a Fear Free practice that cares deeply about our patients, clients, and community was important to me.
When not caring for your animals, you can find me running, crocheting, playing ukulele, or just hanging out with my husband, two adult kids, five dogs, and six cats. I also enjoy a good murder show every now and then [citation].
