My dream of being a vet began when I started riding horses at five years old. I worked my way through undergrad at UMASS and vet school at Auburn as a veterinary assistant. I toyed with the idea of specializing in horse medicine before deciding that small animal medicine was the right path. For me, being a vet is about being able to improve people’s lives through improving their animals’ lives. I've witnessed the dramatic, positive impact that having a pet can have on a person. And my goal is to protect that relationship by keeping the pet happy and healthy for as long as I can.
Outside of Urban Tails, I like exploring new things in crafts and music—I’ve done knitting and painting and I play guitar, piano, and violin. I also just like relaxing on the couch, reading with my fiancé and our four cats.
