As an accredited hospital by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. At VCA Animal Care Center of Mt. Juliet, we understand that visits to the veterinarian can be stressful for pets. To help them feel at ease, we encourage you to let us know if your pet is shy or stressed around other animals. We also provide cat carriers if needed and ensure that everyone's safety remains a top priority.
We offer a wide range of services, including intensive care for critically ill pets. Our ICU is equipped with specialized nursing staff and advanced equipment such as blood pressure monitors, ECG machines, pulse oximeters, incubators, oxygen cages, and ventilators. We also provide life resuscitation equipment and various therapies to control pain, ensuring that your seriously ill pet receives the best possible care.
In addition to our medical services, we also offer socialization events for dogs through our partnership with For Social Graces. We are committed to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education, and awareness, in collaboration with New Leash on Life.
