About Us
At Veterinary Vision, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality ophthalmic care for your pets. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for animals by preserving and restoring vision through education and science. We pride ourselves on our commitment to community service, ensuring that every pet receives the best possible care.
Our Services
We specialize in the treatment of eye conditions in animals, offering a comprehensive range of services designed to address various ocular issues. Our highly trained staff and board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists perform routine ophthalmic tests, including tear production and intraocular pressure measurements, to diagnose conditions such as dry eye and glaucoma. A thorough eye exam is conducted using specialized magnifying equipment and light sources, including slit-lamp biomicroscopy and indirect ophthalmoscopy, to evaluate the front and deep structures of the eye.
Community Involvement
Veterinary Vision is deeply committed to giving back to the community. We participate in the ACVO & StokesRx National Service Animal Eye Exam Event, providing free ocular exams to service and working animals. This philanthropic effort is a testament to our dedication to protecting the eye health of these vital companions. Additionally, we donate to the Vision for Animals Foundation, supporting research into the elimination of ocular diseases causing vision loss and suffering in animals.
Patient Care
We understand that unexpected medical expenses can be challenging, which is why we accept various payment options, including cash, checks, credit cards, and CareCredit. Our goal is to provide timely and effective treatment for your pet's eye conditions. We recognize the importance of working with your primary care veterinarian and regularly communicate by phone and written correspondence to ensure seamless care.
Expertise
Our veterinary ophthalmologists have completed a four-year veterinary program followed by an additional 3-4 years of internship and residency. They are required to pass rigorous testing requirements to achieve board certification by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. This advanced training allows us to detect refractive errors and, in some cases, prescribe corrective contact lenses for performance dogs.
Commitment to Care
At Veterinary Vision, we prioritize the best possible care for your pet. We accommodate emergencies and offer Saturday appointments in both locations. Our priority is to provide timely veterinary care, and we ask for a minimum of 24 hours for cancellation of scheduled appointments to ensure that we can accommodate other patients in need.
We are committed to delivering exceptional service and care to every pet that walks through our doors. Trust Veterinary Vision for all your pet's eye care needs, and let us help preserve and restore their vision for a healthier, happier life.
