Dr. Julie Matthews is a 1989 graduate of NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she was awarded a fellowship to Harvard School of Public Health where she studied retroviruses for one year. She is certified in acupuncture (IVAS) and homeopathy (AVH). Dr. Matthews is also trained in VOM (veterinary orthopedic manipulation), a specialized form of chiropractic manipulation for animals. She has devoted her energies to private practice, with a special interest in internal medicine and alternative therapies.
