About Us
At Vista Veterinary Hospital, we are dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care to the pets of the Tri-Cities area. For over fifty-five years, we have been a mainstay in the Columbia Basin, offering quality veterinary services that have earned us a reputation for excellence. Originally founded as Highlands Veterinary Clinic in 1956 by Dr. Ivor Evans, our hospital has undergone significant transformations, including a name change to Vista Veterinary Hospital in 1981 and a major renovation and expansion to 8,000 square feet in 1996.
Our commitment to quality and excellence is reflected in our accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1959. This distinction is a testament to our adherence to the highest standards of animal medical care and comprehensive facility specifications. Our team of highly skilled veterinarians and staff are superbly trained to provide the very best veterinary information, education, and clinical care to your pet. We recognize that your animal companion is a valued member of your family and treat them with the same care and compassion that you would.
We offer a wide range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients. From routine appointments for dogs and cats to specialized care for avian and exotic pets, we strive to provide comprehensive pet wellness care. Our services include vaccinations, wellness programs, senior pet care, oral and dental care, surgery, prescriptions, laboratory services, and microchipping. We also provide boarding services where your pet can receive the same affection and friendship they are used to getting from you. Our boarding facilities are designed to reduce stress, with separate areas for canine and feline guests, premium food, and optional items like Kong toys with treats and walks through a neighborhood park.
At Vista Veterinary Hospital, we pride ourselves on the goodwill we have generated over the years. We appreciate the trust you have placed in us to care for your companion pets and are committed to maintaining the intrinsic value of the veterinarian-patient-client relationship. Whether you need routine care or urgent attention, we are here to provide the best possible care for your beloved pets.
