At West Fork Veterinary Services, we are dedicated to providing top-notch ambulatory veterinary care to clients in North Central West Virginia. Our primary focus is on livestock and farm animals, with a special emphasis on cattle and horses. We also serve sheep, goats, and swine, ensuring that all your agricultural needs are met with expertise and care.
Our team, led by Dr. Stenger, is committed to understanding the unique challenges faced by livestock producers. Dr. Stenger is a native of Harrison County and grew up on a livestock farm, giving him a deep understanding of the agricultural industry. His extensive experience, gained both locally and internationally, has equipped him with the knowledge to address a wide range of issues related to livestock health.
We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our clients, going beyond the typical client-practitioner relationship. Our services include professional consultations, surgeries, evaluations, treatments, and herd health management. We offer one-way travel to and time on the farm for scheduled appointments, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive care without unnecessary inconvenience.
Our commitment to excellence is evident in our approach to emergency care. While we strive to provide regular business hours service from 8 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, we understand that emergencies can arise at any time. For unscheduled emergency trips or appointments not made in advance, we charge a reasonable emergency fee to ensure that our clients receive urgent attention when needed.
