About Us
The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation to sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. For over 28 years, we have been serving the residents and wildlife of Santa Clara County, striving to ensure that these animals receive the highest quality medical care and the opportunity for release back into their natural habitats.
Our mission is multifaceted. We not only focus on the rehabilitation of wildlife but also aim to educate the public about coexisting peacefully with local wildlife. This education is crucial in promoting a harmonious relationship between humans and animals, especially in an area where technological advancements have significantly impacted the environment and natural habitats.
We take pride in our ability to care for a diverse range of species, from tiny hummingbirds to magnificent grey foxes. Our team, consisting of dedicated animal care staff and over 230 volunteers, works tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the necessary care and attention. We have successfully rehabilitated and released hundreds of animals each year, making a significant impact on the local wildlife population.
Our organization relies heavily on donations to continue our mission. We believe that every life matters, and we are passionate about preserving the rich and diverse wildlife population that still inhabits the Valley. By supporting us, you are contributing to the preservation of our natural heritage and helping us to continue our vital work in rehabilitating and releasing wildlife back into their environment.
