About Us
Wildlife Rehab of Greenville is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife in South Carolina. Founded in 1993, we are an all-volunteer group made up of caring individuals who share a passion for helping the helpless critters in our community.
Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for wild animals, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention to recover from their injuries or grow strong enough to be released back into the wild. We hold all necessary permits required to rehabilitate and exhibit animals, ensuring that our efforts are both effective and compliant with regulatory standards.
We are funded solely by our members and public donations, which cover the cost of food and veterinary expenses for the animals in our care. This model allows us to maximize our impact without the expense and upkeep of a shelter, enabling us to care for more animals with the resources we have.
Our team of well-trained rehabilitators works tirelessly to give a second chance to more than 2,200 injured and orphaned animals each year. We provide educational wildlife information to hundreds of area residents of all ages, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the importance of wildlife conservation.
If you find an animal in need, we encourage you to reach out to us. Our hotline is available for calls and texts, and we appreciate any assistance you can provide in getting the animals to us. Whether you're an experienced wildlife enthusiast or just starting out, we welcome you to join our community of caring individuals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of South Carolina's wildlife.
By supporting Wildlife Rehab of Greenville, you are contributing to the preservation of our state's natural heritage and helping to ensure that these incredible creatures continue to thrive in their natural habitats. Thank you for considering us as your partner in wildlife conservation.
